Chiara Veronelli

Chiara Veronelli studied at the Fine Arts Academy of Bergamo, the Artistic Instiute of Urbino, and Fine Arts Academy in Carrara, where she met designers, artists, historians, and photographers of great renown: Silvio Coppola, Bruno Munari, Roberto Sambonet, Piercarlo Santini, Will McBride, Fabrizio Ferri, Getulio Alviani. She completed further education at the Fine Arts Academy of Brera, in Milan, where she graduated from the course of Painting in 1982, under the guidance of Gottardo Ortelli. Her competence and passion for design and engraving techniques (etching, acquatint, lithography, xylography) enabled her to collaborate with a leading artistic printing laboratory in Milan, an experience that formed the basis of her specialisation in the field of elaborate graphic production.

In 1983, she founded the Congegno studio with Giacomo Bersanetti, which would then take the name of Studio Grafico Artigiano, today known as SGA Corporate & Packaging Design. Chiara develops branding and packaging projects to which she brings her unique talent that has been refined over the years: during her career, she has acquired an extraordinary skill in lettering and font design, through which she manages to express a natural elegance and sensibility towards beauty, carried by a rare attention to detail.

At the same time, she has also applied he talents to refine a natural talent for illustration; of particular note are the series of portraits developed over the years for various volumes of the I Semi series dedicated to “the protagonists of the material life”, published by Veronelli Editore.
